The role

Our Product Development teams are a critical part of our organisation. They provide engineering expertise through all aspects of the product life cycle from concept to production. They work collaboratively with our Chief Engineers, Procurement and our Manufacturing sites around the world to provide core knowledge for our product.

Due to a promotion, this position as a leader of leaders has oversight and direction of all our expert Refrigeration Technical design teams. We are looking for an experienced and inspirational engineering leader with demonstrated commercial acumen and cross functional business understanding. You will bring a strong coaching style to drive and support a high-performance culture among functional leaders and their teams working on the next generation of F&P Refrigeration appliances.

The person

You are an experienced and passionate engineering leader. You are able to influence behaviour and actions by articulating clear purpose and vision within company strategy, while developing and enabling your team to operate at their full potential. A strategic thinker who sees the big picture, you are also able to keep others on task and focused on delivery. You enjoy supporting others to clear roadblocks and mitigate risks across projects, you lead by example and have excellent planning, budgeting and systems capability. Previous product development knowledge is highly desirable.

- Developing and leading an expert workforce
- Setting clear direction and supporting delivery to project and business goals
- Leading continuous review, development and capture of reusable process knowledge
- Working as part of the Product Development leadership team to improve our tools, processes and methods.
