You'll be part of the team that supports our Resources staff, so your day will be filled with variety and challenges. You'll enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a dynamic and fast paced environment, remain adaptable, adhere to policies and procedures, and have sound judgement in prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines. Some of the key tasks are:

- Processing of contract progress claims using complex spreadsheets
- Preparation of procurement documentation, including contractual documents
- Uploading tender documentation onto the Council's tender portal
- Collating all contract documents and additional correspondence for signing by the Council and the successful contractor
- Publishing start work notices on the website and distributing to key stakeholders
- Working within strict service level agreements

Working as part of our technical contracts team can be highly demanding, so experience working with contracts would be to your advantage. Your methodical approach, paralleled with a capability to multi-task across a range of activities, allows you to maintain your accuracy and attention to detail, even with high volumes of work. You'll have experience in SAP, ideally in finance or procurement. You'll be advanced in the use of Excel and you'll have experience working with Capital Delivery Projects and in particular experience with NZS 3190 contracts.

**Additional information**:

- Hours of work: Permanent, full-time Mon-Fri.
- Location: This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street.
- Salary: Will be discussed with the successful applicant.
