**Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role**
The National Advisor Coordination Centres will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and business plans for coordination centres across New Zealand. This will ensure consistency of approach from IMT through Local, Regional and National Coordination Centres to the National Crisis Management Centre (NCMC) for all event types.
A key aspect of this position will be maintaining the National Coordination Centre and coordinating response to any events.

This dynamic position requires an adaptable and agile response to competing priorities. You will bring excellent attention to detail and time management skills, as well as experience managing personnel in emergency response environments.
**To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will bring**:
- Experience in high-pressure, time-critical response environments
- Significant experience in developing and implementing business and organisational strategies
- Significant experience with partner agencies at a strategic level
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Detailed knowledge of the Coordinated Incident Management System
- Detailed understanding of New Zealand’s National Security System

**The salary range for this role is $122,978 - $136,643 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.**
