You will need to work with people from a wide range of internal and external workgroups and agencies. Communication is key as you will be resenting analysis through written reporting and verbal briefings to a range of audiences. Time will not always be your friend.

It would be advantageous but not essential - if you had some knowledge of Geospatial systems, radio communications.

- Contribute to core Intelligence reporting and deliverables of the Group.
- Critical thinking - able to provide objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgement.
- Champion diverse worldviews, different perspectives, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, identifying opportunities to reflect these in Intelligence products.
- Able to use technology but equally adapt to non-technical solutions in the field.

While you will initially be working as a Tactical Intelligence Analyst, the position is rotational and after 18 months in the role you will be rotated into another general Intelligence Analyst position within Tāmaki Makaurau, based at Piki Ki Te Ao, Ōtāhuhu.
