Post Description**
You are **willing to relocate** close to the project location (from start to handover to the customer - 2, 3+ yrs).*
Within the framework of **projects in Australia, South East Asia and New Zealand, we are looking for several Project Director / Senior Project Coordinator** to act as the day-to-day interface with our clients helping to drive projects to achieve an excellent outcome. You will have to work on **major industrial technical (multi-million) projects.**
You will specialize in contract cost planning, estimating activities, commercial management and will bring your practical expertise and best practice experience and BE comfortable operating in a client-facing role, leading project teams and managing stakeholders.

**_Reporting to the Head of Projects Department, your credibility, customer focus and exceptional communication skills will enable you to:_**
- Supervise project execution to ensure compliance with the specifications, contractual clauses and proper administration of the contract
- Manage a group of experienced Project Managers, Technical Project Managers,
- Organize the meetings that mark the project (kick-off meetings, design reviews, coordination meetings, monthly business meetings, etc.)
- Maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project
- Follow any contractual aspects and contractual communication with the client
- Revise and update project schedule on a regular basis
- Work collectively with stakeholders with common goals
- Liaising with the client and other, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
- Coordination with multiple teams (France and/or local)
- Monitor and assess project performance and identify areas to improve
- Forecast resource demand to identify resource requirements
- Assist PMs with administrative aspects during the project lifecycle
- Manage, coordinate and provide necessary training in all aspects of Project Management process
- Manage payments, invoicing, as well as insurance, tax and legal issues...
- Deal with any unexpected problems that may occur during the project
- Prepare the end of Business Review (analysis of deviations from budget and schedule, formalize a feedback)
- Lead by example and promote a proactive health & safety conscious culture

**About you?**
You speak **English** (**fluent in French** is a plus).
Degree in engineering, you have **at least 5-8 years’ relevant experience as a Project Director; Senior Project Coordinator or similar role in a technical environment, construction or engineering discipline. Ideally in airport systems **(systems for airport terminal, ground handling or IT).
Accuracy & attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames,
Ability to take control of everyday situations and to assume responsibility, organising and guiding where necessary,
Delivery of project outcomes with Safety, Quality, Schedule and Budget as the highest priority
