**The team**:
You will join our Technical Claims team, working with a carefully selected team of people who take pride in their decision making and cost control.

**What you’ll do**
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Complex Claims and Investigations to provide leadership to our technical claims team across home and car. This includes accountability for Liability, Recoveries, Settlements and Investigations. We are looking for a technical expert who is a great people leader and able to uplift the capability across all of our claims teams through process improvement, training and coaching. You will be a coach and always looking at ways to support a high-performance culture whilst being able to give expert claims advice on complex matters. You will be a Team Leader/Manager looking for their next career step.

**You will also**:

- Develop and coach your team to deliver a world leading customer experience
- Monitor performance metrics to look for opportunities to deliver a high performing culture
- Monitor workforce planning, workloads and adherence to schedules to meet customers demand
- Take ownership in the recruitment of talented individuals to the claims teams
- Support our customers through escalations and look for ways to solve problems
- Collaborate internally with key stakeholders including operations, engineering, analytics, revenue and legal to look for improvement opportunities
- Contribute to build a world class claims function that supports our growth

**What we’d like**
- General Insurance experience within claims
- Expertise developing a high performance culture
- Strategic thinking in managing recoveries, credit hire and fraud across multiple jurisdictions
- A ‘can do’ attitude looking at ways to solve complex problems
- A high performer who can add high value and drive impact through a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills are a must, across all levels including senior management
- Ability to develop processes and use a continuous improvement mindset to keep them relevant
