**About the role/s**:
Organisation will be key, where you are responsible for forward planning, programming & coordinating resource and delivering high quality work to the community you live in. Growing the business, strengthening the capability of the team and providing clear and positive leadership will ensure we are delivering and meeting project and contract objectives.

Reporting into the Northern Region Water Manager, you will work closely with our wider drainage, wastewater, and stormwater maintenance teams, as well as collaborating with our internal relationship managers.

Your day will include but not be limited to:

- Overall responsibility for day-to-day management of specific project and/or contract implementation and delivery
- Compliance of health & safety (Zero Harm), environment and quality assurance
- Directing and leading Supervisors within your team as well as sub-contractors
- Implement control framework including budgets, and report regularly to stakeholders.

**Nga Pūkenga Matua | Important Skills**
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in an engineering, maintenance, or construction position with proven experience managing consolidated teams in a regional capacity
- Ideally a relevant tertiary qualification in water, engineering or a related field
- Contract Management or Project Manager qualification preferred but not mandatory
- New Zealand water industry experience and ideally international experience
- Commercial acumen including the ability to prepare progress and claim reports and to produce and interpret monthly financial reports to P&L level
- Ability to price minor/capital work utilities projects
- Ability to lead and work in a team directly and remotely
