We are currently seeking a dedicated Sales and Service Manager to join our experienced and passionate Papakura management team

As part of a small team of Department Managers reporting through to our Assistant Store Manager you will enjoy the benefits of a wider support network both in store and regionally.
As the Sales and Service Manager you will: Drive department sales and take full ownership for the teams sales performance Manage, coach, develop and motivate team to exceed sales budgets Liaise with VM to ensure all visual elements (banners, windows, hot spots) are in place, on time before store opening Drive a customer service culture across departments by ensuring high levels of customer service Implement & communicate promotional plans for upcoming events What we are looking for in our ideal candidate: 2+ years' experience in a similar position (Store Manager small store or Department Manager medium to large store) Strong sales coaching competence - proven ability in coaching for sales improvement Excellent team management experience - can motivate and coach a team to improve sales results What's on offer: We're all about career progression, and supporting our talent through internal succession planning, with many examples of employees that have progressed their career through promotions or transfers across different stores Endless opportunities to grow and develop your skills with ongoing training and development The opportunity to complete nationally recognised qualifications A comprehensive online learning database specifically tailored to each role in the business Generous staff discounts across the Farmers and James Pascoe Group Competitive salary and management incentive scheme on offer A workplace which gives you a sense of belonging Supporting Our Community Farmers work with a carefully selected group of New Zealand charities to create community-based initiatives to raise awareness, education and funds, to better people's lives.
This is a permanent full-time role and will involve weekend work and flexibility for early starts and late nights as part of the management roster.
If you are up to the challenge of being a hands-on Department Manager who knows how to lead and motivate your team, build a positive culture, control stock flow, manage reserves and daily merchandising and assist with loss prevention, then we are keen to speak with you.
