Worldwide Trading Limited, one of New Zealand’s leading importing and retail companies based in Auckland, is seeking a skilled Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and marketing. Your duties will include:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Planning & Market Analysis**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to achieve corporate objectives, focusing on the retail of imported products in New Zealand.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and optimize product positioning and pricing strategies.
- **Sales Management**:

- Oversee the development and execution of sales plans, including setting sales targets and forecasting demand for imported products.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, distributors, and other sales channels to drive growth and ensure market penetration.
- **Marketing Campaigns & Promotions**:

- Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various platforms, including digital, print, and in-store promotions, to enhance brand visibility and product demand.
- Ensure that all marketing activities align with the company's overall strategy and contribute to achieving sales objectives.
- **Brand Positioning & Market Communication**:

- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels to strengthen the company's market position.
- Coordinate with external PR agencies as needed, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- **Budget Management & Cost Control**:

- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of marketing and sales activities, making necessary adjustments to meet financial goals.
- **Product Development & Launch**:

- Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new imported products, ensuring they align with market needs and comply with local regulations.
- Coordinate product launches with sales teams, channel partners, and media to maximize their impact.
- **Team Leadership & Development**:

- Lead and guide the marketing and sales teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to effectively execute strategies.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in marketing and sales practices.
- **Compliance & Reporting**:

- Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with relevant New Zealand regulations, including advertising standards and consumer protection laws.
- Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance, sales trends, and market analysis to senior management.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with imported products and services.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.
- **Miscellaneous Duties**:

- Perform additional duties as required by the director, contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- **Pay Rate**: $63.50 - $65.00 per hour
- **Guaranteed Hours per Week**: Minimum 30 hours

**Requirements**:

- At least three years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients and partners.
- Familiarity with the business environment and the ability to develop and implement strategies that meet market demands.
- Leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Proven success in sales leadership roles, focusing on driving revenue growth.

Pay: $63.50 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
