About the role
We are looking for a procurement professional seeking an opportunity to further develop their current skill set within a growing supply chain team. You will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with procurement initiatives, providing procurement system support, supporting procurement projects and building and maintaining effective supplier relationships.

**You Have**:

- Experience in a procurement, sourcing or contract related role preferably working in a government environment
- An affinity for and experience with electronic ordering and financial management systems
- Ability to establish and maintain production relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to help co-ordinate a formal tender process from start to finish
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Strong time management and planning ability
- An eye for detail whilst at the same time having the ability not to lose site of the larger strategic goal.

**You might also have**:

- Had exposure to a continuous improvement and/or change management environment.
- Previous experience in a regulated and zero critical failure environment.
- Diploma or degree (or equivalent) with specific supply chain, logistics, planning or procurement components
- Project management skills
