**_The Opportunity;_**

We are recruiting for a Billing Administrator to join Ritchies, based in Auckland, at our head office in Swanson, reporting to the Group Accountant.

This role is responsible for managing completeness of billing and providing effective and timely resolution of accounts receivable issues through prompt payment of all invoices.

You will be working alongside Accounting Administrators, completing Accounts Receivable transaction processing, including maintaining master data, processing invoices, making payments, follow-up and resolution of queries & exceptions, and liaising with business users and vendors as required.

Ideally you have ambitions in the future to move into an Analyst role, but wanting to sink your teeth into this position initially.

We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

**_ About You;_**

You’re an experienced administrator in the finance sector that is tech savvy and prides themselves on being organised and methodical.

You are confident conducting initial investigative action over reasons for overpayment/underpayment and proactively dealing with Ritchies Customer Owners over resolution. You're a strong communicator, capable of liaising with a variety of internal and external customers in a professional and prompt manner. You can process credit notes, sales invoices, and debit adjustments correctly, in line with the delegated authorities policy and on a timely basis.

Your Skills;_**
- Previous general accounting experience (AP, AR, general ledger journals and reconciliations) gained in a commercial enterprise.
- Self-starter
- Experience using SAP Business One or Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems.
- Strong communicator
- Organised, methodical & analytical approach to work
- Interest in public transport
- Health and safety savvy
