**He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role**

Our national Quality and Improvement team is looking for a dedicated national manager, to lead a team of Quality and Improvement partners who are at the forefront of creating a natural culture of compliance and continuous quality improvement. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop a Quality Plan and framework for all of our Emerge Aotearoa entities, identify trends and issues from Quality Data and develop improvement plans to address these, develop and deliver key Quality Improvement initiatives across Emerge Aoteaora, and proactively identify opportunities to build Quality Improvement capacity and capability across all Emerge Aotearoa entities.

As the Quality and Improvement Manager, you will be reporting to Group Director Business Improvement. The team of Quality and Improvement Partners you will lead are responsible for quality and improvement activities within their dedicated portfolios and regions supporting all entities of the Emerge Aotearoa Group, as well as shared support functions such as finance, IT and people experience and our three strategic pou.

Your responsibilities will include leading the development and implementation of the Group Quality Plan and framework, guiding business entities in enhancing their quality practices, and collaborating with the assurance team to ensure quality control and management approaches are effective. Your commitment to developing and supporting your team will be instrumental in driving our vision of strengthening whānau together so communities can thrive.

As a leader committed to our values, you will naturally build positive stakeholder relationships and offer guidance using strength-based language. You will lead a mighty team of up to 6 Quality and Improvement Partners, but influence many You will collaborate with all levels of the organisation to foster a culture of cooperation and open communication, ensuring commitment to a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. Your motivation to make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve, while adhering to compliance requirements, will set you apart. We want to hear from you if you have a:

- Solid Quality Improvement experience of 8 - 10 years preferably from working within social sector and at national level
- Good understanding of the operational needs/functions of a NGO and a good grasp of sector standards, contractual requirements and legislative compliance
- Strong knowledge and understanding of assurance activities
- Previous experience establishing and/or reviewing an existing quality framework and experience with growing a continuous improvement culture
- Previous experience in influencing change in a complex environment
- Tertiary qualification minimum NZQA level 7 in Quality Management
