**Company Description**

As the Quality Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that Summerset's quality and risk framework is up to date, based on evidence and best practice, demonstrate a person-centred approach to resident care and be compliant with the standards set by the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard.

The key focus of the role is to develop new policies as directed by the Head of Clinical Improvement, ensure all clinical policies align with evidence, best practice, are resident centred, and are regularly reviewed and updated based on best practice.

You will play a pivotal role in creating and updating content for clinical policy related training, collaborating with stakeholders for policy development, and driving projects and initiatives, working with the Head of Clinical Improvement.
**Qualifications** To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have**:

- Current NZNC practising certificate with minimum of five years’ post-graduate experience preferred, with experience in aged care.
- Demonstrated skills in project management methodology and implementation of new systems and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in policy and procedure development in the health environment including technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of relevant aged care standards and compliance, funding contracts,
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to communicate rationale and drive uptake for change.
- Ability to identify risk and resolve problems.
- Bi-cultural awareness and the ability to adhere to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
- Strong ability to manage key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in a manner that builds confidence in the Summerset brand.
