We are looking for an experienced Senior Advisor, Quality Improvement to join our Quality Systems team.
About Te Tahu Hauora
Te Tahu Hauora Health Quality and Safety Commission is a stand-alone Crown entity with a board responsible to the Minister of Health. The Commission is responsible for assisting providers, both private and public, across the whole health and disability sector to improve service safety and quality and therefore outcomes for all those who use these services in Aotearoa New Zealand. You will be working with great people who love what they do.
About the role
This position will co-lead the development of the TeAko tahi hei whakapai ake i te kounga - Improving together: Building capability for quality and safety education programme led by the Chief Advisor Quality and Safety.

**Your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Quality Improvement Capabilty Building: Developing a mentoring and professional development programme for the Commissions Quality Improvement Advisors
- Improvement and Innovation: Understand a range of tools, methods and techniques related to quality improvement and deploy these approrpriately
- Relationship Management: Initiate, develop and maintain a range of strategic relationships and networks related to quality improvement
- Leadership: Lead strategically to engage others in the vision and position quality improvement to meet current and future needs
- Cultural Safety: Acknowledge cultural differences by respecting spiritual beliefs, cultural practices and lifestyle choices

About you
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate that you have:

- completed the Ko Awatea Quality Improvement Advisor programme
- demonstrated people leadership or management experience
