- An opportunity has arisen to appoint a full time Associate Clinical Nurse Manager to the High Dependency Unit.
- This position will involve rostered and rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts. You will work closely with the CCD Clinical Nurse Manager to enhance patient flow and patient safety while providing clinical assistance, supervision and mentorship to the team. You will also be accountable for individual portfolios and will conduct staff appraisals.

**Mōu | About you**
- Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:

- Proven ability in managing and leading a team within the last 3 years
- Evidence of quality improvement initiatives within the last 12 months
- Advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in an Critical Care environment
- Commitment to excellence in patient care
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- A Post Graduate qualification

- The Critical Care Department comprises of a 12 bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) and a 16 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). HDU cares for both elective and acute patients. The unit is state of the art, and provides an excellent opportunity to work in a progressive and motivated environment with the latest technology. We are at the centre of a regional referral network across the middle of the North Island, with all the related trauma and air retrieval activities that go along with that.
- The medical and nursing teams are supportive, dynamic and flexible, working together to provide quality care to all patients within the Midland region.
