Having been in the business for 120 years, this company has significant expertise in supply chain, logistics, operations, and customer relations across 5 countries and 240 facilities worldwide.
**Your new role**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning and Training Team Manager to join the team in South Auckland. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5pm (Need to be flexible).
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning
- Control of site associate labour including rolling 3-month forecast and recruitment plan.
- Calculate weekly and daily labour requirements
- Place associates into production rosters.
- Report on associate performance each day and week.
Training
- Supervising, developing, implementing and recording annual training plans to meet the ongoing needs of the site customer requirements.
- Conducting training and assessment activities when necessary to ensure fulfilment of the annual plans.
- Co-coordinating and directing assigned Associates in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of customer product in a manner consistent.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- 3+ years Team Manager or warehouse experience
- Ability to supervise employees.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong communication, coaching, development, and presentation skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Thorough knowledge of company processes and procedures including QA, HACCP and HS&E requirements within the business.
- Previous experience in a similar role labour planning and team management.
- High attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- HS Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred
- Certificate IV Workplace Trainer & Assessor
