**He aha te mahi? What's the role?**:
The Data and Integration Analyst is part of the Cool Chain team, whose purpose is to provide early season kiwifruit to the markets in a ‘Ready to Retail’ state by conditioning the fruit during the voyage phase within the Supply Chain. Cool Chain also provide other services in storage and handling of cargo in risk management, compliance, monitoring equipment, performance assessments, best practice, and trials.

The Data and Integration Analyst is primarily responsible for providing database support to Cool Chain as it delivers on its mission to service and improve Zespri’s cool chain insights and analytical capabilities. Cool Chains busiest period is March through to July when we are running the conditioning program.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Support team members in scoping and building Power BI reports and regularly monitor and report on the performance of information systems
- Regularly monitor on Cool Chain information systems and have high availability for disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Develop user friendly reports that can be drilled up, down and across either in dashboard displays, interactive, ranking and ad-hoc reports
- Provide additional support in the analytical and implementation of tasks in conditioning and vessel assessments
- Take a lead and supporting role in new Power BI reporting solutions
- Gather requirements for new reports and be involved in building data models
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide direction
- Work with other team members and external data providers (BT9 / Sensitech / Shipping Lines) to resolve issues when solutions are not performing to acceptable service levels

- Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. University technology qualification or Technicial qualification.
- Microsoft certification in SQL Server Development.
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar data analysis or report development role
- Knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and expert in Power BI
- Strong experience building reports and dashboards using enterprise reporting tools, preferably Power BI
- Knowledge and experience with Data Warehouses
- Be able to work independently and autonomously
- Strong oral and written presentation skills (Business Cases, Specifications, etc) across multiple levels of the organisation
- A high level of data literacy with strong experience with data analysis, data processing and data visualisation.
- Good understanding of global supply chain processes with any knowledge around cool chain and managed perishable products highly beneficial, but not essential
- Flexibility on work hours, particularly through the conditioning season (March - June)
