**The Opportunity**
This is a great opportunity to build your career and take a step into the digital/tech area - this role is part of the digital and technology department. You’ll be part of a team responsible for managing documents and records across this large organisation - this includes being part of the shift to online record keeping, moving towards concepts of records as data assets, and naturally a focus on privacy and good protection of sensitive information.
Activities will include:
- Many opportunities to make your mark with lots of projects in the wings, both interesting and important to the organisation
- Managing the online document and records management systems, including appropriate management of sensitive information
- Conducting searches to support information requests from colleagues
- Helping others with their records and data management, and provide training and advice on how to do so to your colleagues
- Participating in developing and implementing policy/initiatives on information and data storage
**About You**
- You will have some previous experience in a related position (i.e. some similarities but doesn’t need to exactly match).
- It would be very useful if you have an awareness of relevant legislation around documents and records e.g. Public Records Act, Privacy Act.
- It would also be great if you had experience using Microsoft Office, scanning software, EDRMS tools, and search methodologies. Sharepoint or Oasis would be especially useful.
- You’ll love working with a range of internal colleagues - and your aptitude for customer service will reflect your enjoyment of this area.
