**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Courier-Fleet and Distribution Services is responsible for the daily delivery of items as part of the Fleet and Distribution Services at the central Alliance hospitals and off-site properties and areas of operations. including the Volunteer driving services. This will see you:

- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to patients, DHB staff, and facilities in a safe, timely manner.
- Ensuring manifest documentation is completed correctly and reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied.
- Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and escalating complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all legislation, policy, and rules laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Have a minimum of 2 vaccinations and 1 booster shot against COVID-19, as this role is in the public health sector.
- Experience in Courier or logistic work will be highly regarded
- Experience working in the healthcare transport or logistic environment will be an advantage.
