The opportunity:
Are you an experienced Deliverable Lead with a technology project management background? If so, this opportunity could be your next role.

AIA New Zealand is seeking a versatile Delivery Lead who has worked across various business units on exciting projects and technology platforms.

Preferably, you should possess experience in regulated corporate settings. As a Delivery Lead, you will need to uphold AIA New Zealand's policies, risk tolerance, and legal and regulatory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:
As Delivery Lead at AIA New Zealand, you won’t have direct reports, but your role holds significant visibility within our Technology team and entails sole charge responsibility for project delivery.- Project Management of key strategic initiatives, including regulatory, digital, process and system enhancements in line with the requirements of the Project Management Playbook and applicable policies.- Support Business Owners and Sponsors to achieve project outcomes through principles of good governance, and accurate and transparent reporting.- Experience leading a project team through a complex piece of work- Attentive, diligent, process orientated, and methodical, as well as being decisive yet diplomatic.- Lead and manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities- Work closely with peers and technology teams to identify and manager interdependencies appropriately- Adhere to a defined project management framework and make use of in-house project management platform to ensure accurate reporting on: Finances, Scope, Schedule, People, Risk and Issue management are maintained on a regular basis.- Provide direction to other project team members and technical staff involved in the solution delivery as appropriate.- Lead and manage project teams to deliver outcomes and effectively communicate risks and issues in a timely manner.- Actively role model the right risk behaviours by speaking up if something isn't right, reporting all matters issues and incidents, upholding obligations when it comes to risk and compliance and completing mandatory learning on time- Ensure that operational and compliance risks and controls are appropriately identified, documented, and managed in line with AIA’s risk appetite.- Adhere to Enterprise Delivery processes, and use of templates and project management tools- Ensure a disciplined approach to project financial management including estimating, tracking and forecasting.

Stakeholder Management- Work with key stakeholders around the whole lifecycle of change- Maintain a balanced product perspective by building relationships and interacting with relevant external stakeholders.- Maintain a high level of communication to all interested parties on vision, progress, scope, roadblocks and the release of features and enhancements.- Be the key point of contact for all business related questions, challenges and decisions.- Involve other teams across the value chain and in shared service (e.g. Finance, Legal, Customer, Distribution, Marketing Product) as required to ensure an enterprise view of requirements, acceptance criteria, and impacts- Escalate any relevant assignment risks, issues, or other matters as appropriate to the sponsor, steering committee or other key stakeholders

Risk- Actively role model the right risk behaviours by speaking up if something isn't right, reporting all matters issues and incidents, upholding my obligations when it comes to risk and compliance and completing mandatory learning on time- Foster a safe and open environment to ensure delivery teams feel comfortable raising any concerns and are heard.- Adherence to the Enterprise Delivery team and projects risk management and compliance requirements using the Project Risk and Issue Management Framework, and Project Tracking, Change Control, and Re-Baselining Guide- Involve existing Line 1 and Line 2 resources as requ
