Digital Principal Delivery Lead
- 3 year contract
- City fringe office
This Principal Delivery Lead position is situated within the Customer and Digital workstream of this programme. The primary responsibility of this role is to foster a culture of delivery excellence and high-performance.
**The specific duties and responsibilities include**:
- Leading and managing Delivery Leads/Project Managers within a matrix management environment. This involves empowering multiple value streams to achieve desired business outcomes, aligning with the new legislation from Day 1
- Orchestrating the system of work across all aspects of the value stream while maintaining a strategic link with the Customer and Digital Leadership team
- Ensuring successful delivery of outcomes through Delivery Leads who will oversee real-time reporting and performance analytics, ensuring adherence to the Day 1 scope and achievement of key milestones for strategic outcomes.
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders and cultivating an environment that emphasizes open and focused communication with everyone
- Serving as an escalation point for program delivery risks and leading the resolution of delivery issues
- Managing delivery to the satisfaction of sponsors and value stream leads, adhering to internal standards, including adherence to Day 1 scope, budgets, and agreed timeframes, while ensuring clear definition and high quality of product deliverables
- Monitoring deliverables and activities, ensuring currency, quality, and integrity of information, while maintaining consistency in content and presentation across the NTU
- Ensuring regular and timely project reporting according to specifications
- Providing effective integrated planning, including change management when necessary
- Ensuring technical solutions designed and implemented by products are the most suitable, cost-effective, and aligned with the architecture framework supported by Digital Enablement
- Acting as a relationship manager with the PgMo, ensuring alignment with product requirements and consistent utilization of delivery tools and practices

- Have experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management stakeholders
**Your Experience**:
- Successfully managed delivery teams and achieved desired outcomes in complex environments
- Led and managed technical teams, providing mentorship and coordination in all aspects of product delivery and business change
- Held various project management and scrum master/delivery lead roles with extensive experience
- Delivered multiple products within schedule, specifications, and budget
- Proficient in defining, mitigating, and managing a diverse risk profile
- Skilled in project-related financial/budget control
- Managed product resources effectively through a matrix management model
- Coordinated separate teams and workstreams to address product dependencies and inter-dependencies
- Demonstrated track record of delivering successful projects/products involving business transformation, preferably in the public sector
- Led in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Extensive experience in senior stakeholder management
**Your Knowledge**:
- Possesses a unique blend of business, IT, financial, and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge and experience of quality assurance techniques
- Extensive familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with local and central government is advantageous
