**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

As a Senior Communications & Engagement Advisor, you will provide clear and robust communication and engagement advice and support, for projects undertaken by the Sector Engagement & Implementation Team.

You will contribute to the various projects being led out of the Sector Engagement & Implementation Team in the People and Culture Group.

You will lead communications programmes that connect people to our purpose and our strategy, drive change, & ultimately, help improve performance.

**_ Note: This is a 12-month secondment opportunity open to existing Te Aka Whai Ora and Te Whatu Ora employees only_**

**Mōu | About you**

You will:
- Be the key Communications Advisor to provide guidance and support for the Implementation team; you will develop a suite of communications resources and engagement plans, to support the project work.
- Provide support and guidance relating to stakeholder engagement within projects and proactively use communications assets to provide a clear communications pathway for projects.
- Keep up to date with the latest communications avenues and train others to use them.
- You will provide review of all communications coming out of the Implementation team to the highest standard and respond to media queries, and write ministerials where required.

**You will: -**
- Provide clear and robust communications and engagement advice, and pathways for projects, by offer support for projects undertaken by the Sector Engagement & Implementation team projects include - International Recruitment Campaign, the Mental Health and Addiction Pilot and the Student Placement System Project.
- Have a strong understanding of various communications channels
- Be able to disseminate information and ‘package' for our newsletters, website it in an effective way that will appeal to a broad range of audiences
