At Unitec, we're passionate about the power of education to positively change the lives of our learners, their family and wider communities. We make sure our learners are well equipped for the future needs of employers, by providing them with a mix of hands-on and classroom-based learning.
**Te āheinga: The opportunity**
As a Lecturer in Bridging Education, you will provide quality educational outcomes in literacy and numeracy and enhance student support and success. Bridgepoint's Kaupapa is to 'create pathways to success' for all our students. Our role is to provide our students with access and opportunity to develop authentic learning pathways that staircase them into higher education and employment.
This is a casual lecturing role to cover sickness or absences.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
You'll have:
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
- Experience in teaching students in the tertiary/secondary sector
- Experience in leading tutor professional development in working with Neurodiverse Learners
- Strong student-centred focus with an interest in working with neurodiverse learners
- Experience in developing innovative and contextualised programs or courses
- A positive and flexible approach to problem-solving in the work environment
- Team player with a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to collaborate
- Knowledge of relevant software packages, Microsoft Office/ Moodle, and a willingness to learn new technology
- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement and growth
