**Job brief**

We are searching for two reliable, innovative assistant restaurant managers to supervise operations at our bustling restaurant. The assistant restaurant manager's duties include assisting the Restaurant Manager manager to organise, plan and implement strategies,oversee and support the operations at dining establishments to ensure profitability and an enjoyable dining experience.scheduling shifts, balancing cash registers, and overseeing payroll. You should also address customers' complaints and queries in a swift, courteous manner.

To be successful as an assistant restaurant manager, You should coordinate with the Restaurant manager to implement measures to minimise costs and improve profitability. An outstanding assistant restaurant manager will contribute to the professional development of staff.

**Responsibilities**

Your core duties include, but will not be limited to:

- Opening and closing the restaurant.
- Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in daily operation
- Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in conducting payroll activities in an accurate, timely manner and scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.
- Supervise the Restaurant and all related area in the based of Restaurant Manager
- Communicate to Chef and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and service levels
- Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
- Purchasing new ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment as stock is damaged or depleted.
- Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
- Sourcing better deals on all resources and equipment that warrant replacing or replenishing.
- Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**
- Diploma/Degree in related field or previous supervisory experience of 1 years, preferably within a restaurant.
- Prior experience using payroll software.
- Intermediate accounting and arithmetic skills.
- Strong leadership skills with an affinity for capacity development.
- Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
- Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
