This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to step into a newly created role as a Platform Team Lead, leading the backbone of our hardware-enabled SAAS solution. In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in managing the development of a scalable and secure cloud-based backend infrastructure and APIs, guiding a team of engineers to ensure reliability and extract valuable insights using machine learning from extensive IoT-generated data.

We're not just looking for someone who likes coming up with flexible and timely solutions; we want someone who is really into making teams perform at their best.

Furthermore, we are looking for an individual who possesses:

- 6+ years of IoT Platform experience; 5+ years of experience in building and leading strong engineering teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience;
- Understands design thinking and Prototyping, Kaizen design events
- Strong experience in cloud-based infrastructure management, preferably AWS
- Strong background in API design and development
- Expertise in data processing, storage and analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Big-data technologies and ML algorithms
- Understanding of Lean/Agile Product development Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
