**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
- We have an exciting new position available as the Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Acute Theatres within our Operating Theatre Department. This role will involve liaising with our CNC Floor Coordinators, Duty Anaesthetists, Service Managers and the wider CNC team to respond efficiently to emergent situations. This is the role for someone who thrives in a challenging environment that can often be demanding.

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**
- Our Theatre department is comprised of 24 Operating Theatres that a broad range of surgical specialties performs procedures, inclusive of paediatrics. In addition, we are responsible for the Delivery Suite theatre where emergent/acute procedures occur.
- The department responds to acute/emergent demand over 7 days/week, 24 hours/day. On average approximately 100 surgeries are performed each day - a combination of acute (time critical) and elective (planned) work.

- Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:

- Have a minimum of 5 years Theatre Nursing experience
- Have a general overview of all Theatre specialties
- Have proven experience successfully leading a team
- Be innovative and able to adapt to change
- Have a high attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be proactive and seek opportunities to take action
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Hold a current annual practising certificate
