- **Multiple opportunities to gain direct experience in the policy process at DOC.**:

- **Casual - approx. 20+ hours per week, 3-4 weeks.**:

- **$27.80 -$30 per hour, Wellington location.**
- _Hours: _Starting week of Monday, 17 March 2025, 20 hours per week minimum (more preferred) for 3-4 weeks (depending on availability of work).
- _ Flexible scheduling: _Work between 8 am - 6 pm is preferred, but we can be flexible.
- _ Career development: _Get direct experience in the policy process. You will be assisting us to read and analyse submissions on proposals to modernise the conservation system.
- _ Training provided:_**_ _**You will receive training in how to use MAXQDA software, a multi-disciplinary research tool.

The position will be focussed on:

- reading, coding and analysing submissions efficiently from DOC's recent public consultation process on proposals to modernise the conservation system
- managing protected information responsibly and securely under the Privacy Act 2020, in accordance with DOC's operating procedures.

The remuneration for this role is an hourly rate of $27.80-$30 per hour.
