**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The Clinical Leadership team are in search of an expericend Principal Advisor to step into this 6 month secondment opportunity. Working closely with the Chief Clinical Officer and the Senior Leadership Team, you would be responsible for providing strategic advice across the Clinical Leadership function, maintaining focus on supporting health system delivery, developing advice, briefings and papers for Ministers, Health New Zealand Board and/or Executive Leadership Team and leading the preparation of high quality, timely and accurate responses to parliamentary questions and Official Information Act requests. This role will also play a key part in shaping the formation of the office including setting up relevant reporting processes and office arrangements.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience (e.g. Law, Humanities or Business).
- Needs to draw on extensive specialised work experience in a relevant role, typically supported with professional qualifications - 10-15 years.
- Experience in the development and presentation of well-articulated, unambiguous, and robust advice, papers, and reports.
- A proven ability to use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, to influence and guide organisational and system-level decision making.
