Envied by its competitors, Ventia has continued to surpass customer expectation as they raise the bar even higher There is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join its collaborative and dynamic team based in New Zealand’s Central region.

The role:
As the Administrator, you will establish and maintain a trusting partnership with business unit(s) and operational staff. You will ensure timely and accurate records are kept and financial information is processed within the given timeframe. You will manage stakeholder relationship across numerous teams and will play a pivotal role in ensuring deadlines are met and all contracts are running flawlessly.

The responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:

- Processing and reconciling purchase orders in SAP (Ariba)
- Processing and reconciling work orders in SAP & Maximo
- Supporting the Account Payable/Receivable process from an operational perspective
- Liaising with various contract managers to gain a thorough understanding of the requirements of the contract followed by processing data to reflect the contract
- Improving systems and processes where necessary to ensure effectiveness of the information entered as well as increasing efficiency and accuracy.

About you:
Highly motivated you have demonstrable experience in a similar role with a large complex business. You communication skills and problem-solving skills are second to none. You enjoy working in a collaborative manner with multiple stakeholders. Attention to detail is one of your strong points. Your technical skills coupled with your ability to multi-task will ensure your success in this role. You will have sound MS Excel and Word skills. Knowledge in SAP and Maximo is highly desirable but not essential.
