Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for a new challenge and variety of work?
We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our team at our Hastings site. The role is dynamic and would suit a well-organised and methodical person who thrives on payroll processing in a go-ahead company.
We are a progressive Hawkes Bay timber processing business that is locally owned and operated. With over 170 employees, our team culture is positive and enthusiastic with an emphasis on health and safety, quality, and customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing the weekly wage and salary payrolls for the Tumu Timbers business
- Responding to pay and entitlement queries
- Assisting the Finance team with accounting tasks including GST / FBT returns and cash management.
- Acting as back-up for the Tumu Transport payroll
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
You will need:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll
- Experience with Ready Workforce payroll / HR system (preferred)
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- To be deadline focused and able to organise your time effective
- Have good logic and problem-solving skills
To be good at communicating with people at all levels of our business and from a range of cultures.
