- To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS). Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.

**Job responsibilities**
- Under the guidance of the Competition Operations Manager and working alongside the wider competition team and in cooperation with other tournament Functional Areas and external stakeholders, the Competition Operations Coordinator will support the successful operational planning and implementation of all aspects of the competition management project at the respective venue in New Zealand.
- The Competition Operations Coordinator will be part of a team within the Competitions sub-division and contribute to ensure that a high standard of Competition and Match Operations can be delivered by the Competition Management team at the tournament itself as well as any event related to the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.**Job duties**

Your role as a Competition Operations Coordinator includes the following responsibilities:

- Competition Operations Coordinator is part of the main Competition Operations staff at the specific venue where they are appointed
- Act as counterpart to the FIFA Match Coordinator
- Support the Competition Operations Manager including with all match related preparation and rehearsals, Stadium Familiarisation sessions preparation and match day operations
- Attend inspection visits at venue where appropriate
- Attend venue meetings on behalf of Competition Management if requested
- Update Site Operating Plans for the specific venue according to the FIFA requirements, in coordination with Competition Operations Manager
- Work closely with Venue Management team, Stadium Authority, Operations, Logistics and Pitch Management, coordinating with them all infrastructural and equipment deliverables, as well as submission of requirements within given timelines
- Work closely with Team Services, Catering, and Transportation, coordinating with them all submission of Teams' and Referees' requirements
- Support Venue Competition Volunteers Training processes
- Manage Competition Volunteers' communication and assignment processes
- Prepare the competition volunteer team to be ready to assist client groups within the competition area
- Prepare offices and meeting rooms (furniture, stationery, equipment etc.) for daily operations and official functions
- Management of consumable orders including ice and laundry
- Manage Competition Management transport requirements for specific venue
- Management of competition related deliveries
- Responsible for preparing the Match Coordination Meeting room and printouts for each meeting in cooperation with the FIFA Match Coordinator
- Work with Marketing Rights Delivery on Youth Programme and VIK distribution to ensure it aligns with competition requirements
- Undertake competition area (incl team bench assembly, dressing rooms and offices) readiness
- Prepare match related competition equipment
- Assist the Competition Operations Manager to ensure the field of play is set-up appropriately
- Assist with the stadium bump-out of the competition area
- Execute any other duties and responsibilities delegated by Competition Operations Manager

**Qualifications, experience and skills**
- A minimum of 2 years sports event experience
- Experience in Competition Management or international/major events is preferred
- Experience working on projects, including both pre-event planning and event time implementation, ideally with football
- International football knowledge preferred
- Good knowledge of event and competition/match operations, sport facility operations, event planning and event project management processes, preferably in an international setting
- Effective people management skills including delegation of tasks
- Ability to collaborate in a group of people working on the same project and as required, coordinate with other Functional
