New Zealand Hauraki District Council Full time

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Community Development Administrator to join our team at Hauraki District Council.

As a Community Development Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating community development initiatives and supporting the implementation of programmes that enhance the wellbeing and growth of our community. This role also provides critical back up to the Council Secretary, requiring the skill set to include minute taking and meeting protocol.

**Key skills for this role are**:
Highly computer literate in Microsoft suite and some experience with website content development

Good written communication

Experience with financial software and report writing

Good understanding of meeting agendas, meeting protocol and excellent minute taking skills

Ability to set up online audio and web conferencing platforms

Knowledge of relevant legislation and understanding of elected representatives is an advantage.

Prior experience in a similar role is essential
