**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

Due to an increased demand to deliver more technology projects for AT & our partners, we are looking for a seasoned Delivery Manager to join our senior management within the Digital and Technology Delivery team.

Join us and manage the Unit's portfolio ensuring delivery of all Business Technology initiatives which support Auckland Transport's key projects. Reporting to the Group Manager Digital & Technology Delivery, you will be leading a team to ensure alignment to BT business objectives and optimal service delivery across our divisions.

As you grow and lead the delivery team, we expect you to have a matrix management approach with other team members, namely Business Analysts and Solution Architects. We will also be gleaning from your experience and insight to contribute to the strategic direction and overall performance of Auckland Transport, providing key strategic input into our development programmes. Delivery is the most important aspect of this role. With a significant sized team of up to 12 direct reporting to you will be responsible for a budget of circa $13 million.

We are looking for a Delivery Manager who is outcome driven, organised and resilient with excellent communication skills adept at navigating political terrain. We will also be looking for;
- A strong understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of Local Government or complex organisations, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirements
- At least 10 years' experience in programme management in an IT environment
- Experience managing significant change that is associated with enterprise solution delivery
- Ability to demonstrate a disciplined approach to managing a significant budget
- A relevant tertiary qualification or substantial relevant business and industry experience
- Finally, Agile experience would be highly advantageous
