We are seeking a CNC Programmer to join their workshop team to develop new programs and refine existing for increased efficiency & repeatability within the existing work processes. The site is clean and safe operating 20 CNC machines producing a wide variety of different components. The customer is first with quality and delivery key to success. Taking ownership of this crucial role, you will be a valuable member of the business.

**What will you be doing?**
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machinability of designs.
- Interpret CAD drawings to generate high quality NC code using CAM for production turning and milling.
- Verify NC data, adjusting machine cutting paths or settings to optimise production while maintaining quality.
- Design jigs, fixtures and tooling and develop standard operating instructions.
- Maintain program data management system,
- Working with CNC operators to ensure they understand the programs they will be running and mentoring their development.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years as CNC operator.
- 3+ years’ experience CAM programming 4 axis milling with emphasis on 2-axis turning and bar feed turning preferably using MasterCAM & SmartCAM
- Experience with Siemens and or Fanuc and or Okuma CNC machine controllers.
- Project and leadership experience.
- Trade qualified (Desirable).

- Have excellent multi-tasking skills, with the ability to programme up to 20 machines.
