In this role, as a Senior Healthy Water Specialist (Asset Management), your responsibility will be to provide asset management expertise to the Healthy Waters team and wider Council, predominantly related to stormwater management. Your focus will be on asset risk mitigation, renewal planning, and lifecycle analytics. You'll work collaboratively, fostering innovation and strong relationships across teams and external organizations.

Key aspects of your work will be:

- Lead and support critical asset renewal planning using best practices.
- Contribute to the development of the asset management plans, of asset management strategies and frameworks, and improvement initiatives
- Utilise data and analytics to assess complex asset management problems and formulate provide evidence recommendations
- Develop renewal business cases and project briefs.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, other council departments and wider industry.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
This role requires experience in similar roles, with a sound understanding of infrastructure asset management.

We will be looking for specific experience with:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Water Engineering or similar.
- 7+ years' experience in infrastructure asset management.
- 3+ years' experience in utility asset management planning.
- Evidence of operating as a Senior practitioner.
- Project management and delivery expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using data and tools for business analytics
