Location: Christchurch
Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $31.50, or based on experience
Position Overview:
As a Personal Assistant at Joyful Restaurant, you'll be the pivotal support for the Managing Director, managing schedules, and communications, and ensuring efficient operations. With a minimum of three years of experience or relevant qualifications, your organizational prowess and interpersonal skills will shine in this dynamic, customer-oriented environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the Managing Director's calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders, including staff, clients, vendors, and partners.
- Coordinate communication between departments and individuals, ensuring efficient flow of information.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and other written materials on behalf of the Managing Director.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the Managing Director's personal and professional matters.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and assignments as requested by the Managing Director to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
**Requirements**:
- At least three years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role; or
- A tertiary qualification at NQF Level 4 or higher in Business, Management or Administration.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using productivity tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge or experience in the restaurant or bakery industry is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a friendly, customer-oriented approach.
- High level of professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
