**About the Opportunity**

Fonterra’s Shares and Payments is ever evolving, and our Co-operatives recently introduced ‘Flexible Shareholding’ structure opens new challenges in a dynamic environment.

This newly create role is to ensure that we have a key focus on our Farmer owners, delivering to them shareholding services, options & solutions and meeting the requirements of Co-Operative constitution & legal environment.

It will be an exciting, varied role as you’ll be in the ‘engine room’ of the Co-operative, with interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders.

We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in customer experience, driving positive change, and continuous improvement, which is central to our team culture. You will be responsible for the critical functions of the Co-operatives Share Compliance requirements, supporting trading events & time-critical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Share Compliance processes, ensuring all necessary banking, reporting and reconciliation requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner
- Supporting Co-operative shareholder voting events
- Producing Shareholder statements & contributing to communications to our farmer
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in both share compliance and supplier payments, and drive initiatives to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
- Implement best practices to minimise risks related to share compliance and supplier payments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with the Supplier Payments Team Lead during payment runs, ensuring compliance with control requirements for a smooth payment process
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in share compliance

**About you**

You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial operations and contribute to the success and growth of the organisation. Ideally you will bring:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- In-depth understanding of financial control requirements in financial service operations
- Ability to identify areas for process improvement and drive positive change
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
- Experience working in an environment reliant on ERPs (eg SAP, Salesforce or other CRM)
- Experience in share registry or payment operations would be ideal
