**About ARL**

ARL is a high throughput agricultural laboratory which is responsible for the analysis of 100,000 samples per year across soil, plant, water, feed quality and fertiliser. To achieve this our team work with state-of-the-art instrumentation, a high degree of automation alongside modern analytical techniques. For each of our customers, we believe that data is vital when it comes to enabling smarter farming for a better New Zealand.

**About the Role**:
The Finance and Procurement Coordinator acts as a key link between the finance team and ARL. Your main focus will be providing support to ARL in meeting strategic objectives and delivering effective capital and operational spend. You will aid the business in implementing operational plans and inform decision making for the ARL Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for providing financial insights and projections to the business and providing reliable data analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. You will also prepare accurate financial planning reports and assist in the preparation of presentations and proposals that effectively frame decisions that need to be made.

**About You**:
We are looking for a finance professional with exceptional communication skills, financial services coordination/administration experience, business partnering experience and a great team player.

**Ideal Skills & Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in accounting or relevant business studies.
- CA/CPA/CIMA/or equivalent with 2+ years post qualified experience.
- Experience in a management accounting or a business partnering.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to speak to both expert and non-financial audiences.
- Proficient excel user and experience with ERP systems.
- A background in a manufacturing/supply environment is desirable.
- Agribusiness industry knowledge would be useful.
