We’re looking for a skilled leader with systems, business and project management experience who can provide expert advice and guidance in a complex legislative and political environment. If you think it could be you, let’s talk.

Reporting to the Unit Director you will provide outstanding leadership for a dynamic and collaborative team, to ensure delivery technical and support functions.

**For this role, you must have**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or a minimum of 10 years combined work experience including experience at a level with responsibility and involvement in business systems.
- Experience with business planning and auditing.
- Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results in a timely and professional manner.

**Key skills needed for this role**:

- Understanding of the economic and legislative restraints relating to the regulatory environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- You will be a strategic thinker - with the ability to demonstrate a broad-based view of issues.

**What is the salary?**

The salary is from $110,000 and is negotiable depending on the level of skills and experience you bring to the role.

- Good political nous.
- An understanding of the economic and legislative restraints relating to the regulatory environment.
- An understanding of and commitment to delivering on the principals of Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
