- We’re on the hunt for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic and high performing New Zealand People & Culture team in Auckland on a fixed term contract for 12 months, covering a team member on maternity leave.
- This is not your typical HR role - it's an opportunity to business partner as well as support transformative projects across Lion NZ Marketplace. This role is perfect for someone who wants to have a significant positive impact on our culture and performance Reporting to our People & Culture Director and working in a NZ P&C team of 9, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and fostering high performance across Lion NZ Marketplace which encompasses Sales, Marketing, Corporate & the Havana Coffee business. Across Lion NZ and Lion Australia we operate under a Centres of Excellence model, so you will work closely with our COE teams based in Sydney around Performance & Reward, People Experience, Workplace Relations & Talent Development.
- **Your key responsibilities will be but are not limited to**:

- Partner with our Culture & Change Leaders and directly with Leaders across Marketplace on organisational change projects.
- Delivery of key capability modules and other strategic initiatives such as leadership capabilities and DE&I projects.
- Coaching for performance, team effectiveness, interpretations of P&C Policies, practices, and remuneration advice.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing insights and guidance on HR best practices.
- Be a driving force in shaping the cultural landscape across Lion New Zealand.

**About You**:

- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, and we’re open to what industry this has been in. More important is your experience in a large organisation with sophisticated systems & people processes.
- Experience in delivering complex organisational-wide projects.
- Experience in leading change across multiple functions and geographies.
- Confident supporting and resolving employment relations matters.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
