**About the role**:

As a People and Culture (P&C) Partner at HRV, you’ll be part of a supportive and encouraging P&C team who love to help people and pride themselves on delivering amazing service to our stakeholders.

In this role, your portfolio will cover a wide range of generalist HR and L&D activities - no two days will be the same As a trusted business partner, you will own and lead the L&D function within the P&C team. This will include developing and implementing frameworks and processes, creating training content, and working with people leaders to drive a learning and growth culture.

You will also provide generalist HR advice and support across a variety of business units, and support our Senior P&C Partner with P&C projects and activities such as performance and remuneration reviews, employment relations processes and change management.

A key part of this role is enabling people leaders to drive performance through people to achieve the delivery of the company’s strategic and operational objectives.

**Who we are looking for**:
To be successful in this role you will have solid understanding of generalist HR and L&D practices. You may currently be an HR Advisor or HR Coordinator looking for a step up into a Partner role or looking for professional and personal growth.

We are looking for someone who understands the people aspect of HR and is committed to making a meaningful difference to people’s lives at work. This role is a bit of everything so you will need to be flexible, ready to roll your sleeves up and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced role.

**You’ll enjoy this role if you**:

- Have the ability to establish, maintain and influence a range of effective internal and external business relationships and networks
- Have experience in effective relationship management including relating effectively with managers and team members at all levels
- Have an empathetic and positive nature as well as a good sense of humour

You will also be keen to be part of a team of 5 who enjoy baking, a good morning coffee (except one who is loyal to an English Breakfast tea), and like have a laugh along the way.

**Skills and Experience**:

- 1-2 years' experience in a HR position
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources (or a related field), and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated HR generalist knowledge with experience in employment relations practices and processes
- Sound knowledge of L&D practices
- The ability to act quickly in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgment in resolving problems
- High level communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with and influence key stakeholders
