Our People & Culture team in Rosedale, Auckland is on the lookout for a People & Culture Business Partner to provide advice and counsel in all areas of the employee experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist to make a step up into a business partnering role.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

As the People & Culture Business Partner for our Engineering division, you will be responsible for all ongoing employee relations, employee development and will be involved in creating and implementing new programs and initiatives. Although you are based in New Zealand, our Engineering division is spread across multiple locations, so this truly is a global role.

A key aspect of this role would be to form long-lasting and trusting relationships with key stakeholders within the business, from new employees to the C-suite. Understanding each individual business requirement and strategy will form another important part of your responsibilities as you will be providing coaching, advice and support to organisational change and talent management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle routine and complex employment relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations as required. Collaborating with the regional P&C team as needed
- Monitor, measure and manage key P&C metrics and KPIs; to meet or exceed targets problem-solve and implement countermeasures to close gaps and drive improvements in HR metrics
- Provide P&C policy guidance and interpretation
- Develop and executes contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
- Support employee engagement processes, analysis and annual action planning
- Ensure compliance with the end-to-end associate onboarding and exit process
- Handle highly confidential associate employment relations and payroll information

The skills we see as critical to succeed in this position:

- Solid experience in an HR Generalist / Business Partner role; including experience resolving complex employee relations issues for Australia and New Zealand
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, and respective employment laws
- Able to work globally with a diverse array of people and build strong working relationships
- Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Passionate customer service orientation with extensive experience in managing multiple stakeholders
