QT Queenstown Expansion EVT Hotels & Resorts is set to significantly expand its award‑winning QT brand with the redevelopment and expansion of an additional 156 guest rooms. This transformation will integrate the property into the existing QT Queenstown and upon completion comprise of 225 rooms, majority with guest balconies, to take in the stunning Lake Wakatipu waterfront. The expansion will also offer guests the exceptional QT hospitality, bold design‑led spaces, high quality conferencing and event facilities, and delicious food and beverage experiences with unparalleled Lake Wakatipu views. The new QT facilities have been designed to meet the needs of the wellness and adventure guest, including a state‑of‑the‑art gym, pool and facilities to cater for hikers, mountain bikers and ski/snowboarders. Role Overview Join QT Queenstown as Hotel Manager, where you’ll lead the daily operations of one of New Zealand’s most iconic lifestyle hotels. Reporting into the General Manager, you’ll drive commercial success, elevate guest experiences, and foster a high‑performing team culture. As the property’s host and brand ambassador, you’ll ensure every moment escapes the ordinary. Key Responsibilities Lead hotel operations with an emphasis on the Rooms Division. Drive revenue, occupancy, and guest satisfaction through strategic planning and team collaboration. Champion a luxury guest experience, proactively resolving issues and elevating service standards. Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise staffing to meet financial targets. Build strong relationships with clients, local partners, and internal teams to grow business. Develop and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence, training, and career progression. What We’re Looking For A Luxury hotel background with experience in the US/European market being highly desirable. A hands‑on, visible leader with strong hospitality and rooms experience and commercial acumen. Passionate about creating memorable curated guest experiences and cultivating team culture.
