We are a global leader in our category, manufacturing, marketing and exporting our super-premium, award winning ultra-premium pet nutrition around the globe from right here in New Zealand. The time is right for us to step up our communications, to share our journey to success and enhance and strengthen our external connections. We are seeking an extraordinary communications and external relations professional to join our leadership team and work strategically to develop and oversee our future communication plans and foster relationships with key external partners. You will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of ZIWI’s communication strategies and external relations efforts, building our reputation with everyone important to ZIWI, and partnering with our Global Innovation and Brand teams to maximise opportunities to build reputation and manage risk. The ideal candidate is a senior comms practitioner who understands what it takes to grow and protect reputation in a super-connected world.
You enjoy working at pace and can confidently and quickly build trust internally to help us engage more effectively externally. You will have an eye for risk and a head for commercial complexity.
You will be adept at bringing outside thinking in to help shape strategy and you will be as comfortable delivering external relations strategy as you are developing it.
Importantly, you will love cats and dogs. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, rapidly growing business with a global footprint.
