This is an exceptional opportunity to join ACC in this newly established role.
Reporting into the Deputy Chief Executive System Commissioning and Performance, the Head of Health Partnerships is responsible for health sector engagement to ensure ACC has strategic and well governed, engagement with the health sector that drives positive health outcomes for New Zealand.
The role is also responsible for ensuring our enterprise strategy, Huakina Te Rā, is bought to life through these key health sector engagements.
You will be responsible for leading: Strategic engagement with the health sector including partnerships, education, guidance, and support for change.
Health sector insights and intelligence to inform quality decision making in ACC.
Effective commissioning of services to support quality health outcomes.
Provider engagement and performance management.
You will be an experienced senior leader with a sound knowledge and understanding of rehabilitation, injury prevention and primary, secondary and tertiary health care practices and issues.
You will have significant stakeholder engagement experience and demonstrate gravitas in working with key stakeholders.
You will also have significant operational management, financial management, reporting, business analysis, performance improvement and delegation expertise.
Equally you will: Proven performance in the application of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi for the design of policies, systems, and processes.
Sound understanding and demonstrated leadership of the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
A demonstrated strong collaborative focus on mutually beneficial partnerships (both internally and externally) to progress health outcomes for New Zealand.
Proven experience in leading through change and embedding positive culture change.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sound strategic plans, that balance the interests of customers and stakeholders.
Highly effective influencing and negotiation skills.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels.
