Day to day you will be involved in:

What experience you'll bring:
- Privacy expertise: Familiarity with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, including the Telecommunications Information Privacy Code and the Credit Reporting Privacy Code.
- Proven Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to handle complex issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, delivering clear advice and managing challenging conversations when needed.
- Analytical and pragmatic: Ability to be analytical and thorough, while remaining big picture-focused and pragmatic.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working with changing environments and priorities.
Why Choose Us:
Diversity and Inclusion: At Spark, we are constantly looking for ways to build a more inclusive culture. Our vision is for diversity and inclusion to be "how things are done at Spark", embedded into our day-to-day activities, standards, and business practices.
Sustainability: We are dedicated to supporting Aotearoa New Zealand's recovery and economic transformation, committed to making a positive contribution to digital equity.
Our people matter: As a valued employee of Spark, we provide a range of leading benefits including:
- Wellbeing: Comprehensive medical insurance, life and income protection.
- Hybrid ways of working: Most teams at Spark work in the office for 4 days a week, with 1 flexible day.
- Leave: In addition to four weeks annual leave, we offer purchased leave, enhanced parental leave support, and study leave.
- Spark Credit: Permanent employees receive $120 monthly Spark credit for our products.
- Spark Share scheme: We periodically offer the opportunity to buy into our share scheme.
- Career development: Access to an internal marketplace that connects employees with experiential, on-the-job learning.
