Multi-Color Corporation manufactures labels for some of the biggest FMCG brand names found on supermarket shelves, bars, restaurants, and hotels globally. We also produce premium-quality labels for high-profile brands in the pharmaceutical, durables, and home & personal care sectors. Given the fact our labels are applied to wine, spirits, beverage & soft drinks bottles, food packaging, bathroom products, medicine containers, white goods, and automotive products, it is likely that you will put your hands on our labels on a daily basis. About The Role
An exciting immediate opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our vibrant team based in our East Tamaki plant. A great opportunity to develop & progress in your sales career and be an integral part of MCC's world class premium label solutions.
You will be responsible to drive sales growth and be accountable for budget, revenue, and margin targets in line with the company's sales strategy. Actively prospect for new customers and defend, protect and grow allocated accounts which may include a mix of Pressure Sensitive Label and Australian Export Shrink Sleeves customers.
In This Exciting And Varied Role, You Will
- Assist in developing strategies for protecting and maximising sales and margins for all allocated MCC customers to achieve set budgets.
- Proactively prospect for new customers while managing and growing relationships with your allocated accounts.
- Maintain margin levels as per MCC's sales strategy.
- Responsible for forecasting and monthly customer reporting within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain Salesforce with accurate sales pipeline whilst ensuring prompt processing of inquiries, quotes, and contract changes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and cost improvements.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
- Business Development or Account Management experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in printing and packaging would be desirable.
- Customer focused with a drive for results.
- You have a passion for what you do and will bring energy and professionalism to the role.
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Can demonstrate the ability to establish & maintain positive relationships with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excels in organisation & time management skills and is flexible & adaptable to changing workload.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
