Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whānau-centred care, and excellence.
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated mental health professional such as Psychologist, Registered Nurse, or Social Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team at Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) in Taupō. About you
- It is essential that the successful candidate has strong mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention skills. The successful candidate should also be able to work efficiently both independently and with other clinicians in our skilled multi-disciplinary team. An ability to connect and build a trusting relationship with a wide range of people from the community is essential, whether it be on-site, at schools, homes, or other settings.

About us
iCAMHS provides multi-disciplinary mental health services to those in our community who are experiencing the highest needs. iCAMHS Rotorua is based in Te Aka Mauri, the Children's Health Hub, housed in the Rotorua Public Library. The Taupō iCAMHS team is based on the Taupō Hospital site.

Working at Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides a great opportunity to balance an amazing lifestyle with a rewarding professional experience.
As well as a supportive, inclusive, and diverse work environment, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes offers competitive salary, free staff parking, fee flu vaccination, discounts (with local businesses), and access to Employee Assistance Program.

- We want to see the real you in your application and welcome the real you on board if you come and work with us. Skills are gained across many areas of our life, not just in formal employment. If you can demonstrate the skills listed in the ad, but the experience was gained through whānau life, community, or mahi aroha (volunteering), we encourage you to apply and share your story with us in your cover letter.
- We particularly welcome applications from our diverse Māori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities.
