An exciting opportunity has become available to work as an experienced Mental Health, Clinical Nurse Specialist and join our Adult Community Mental Health Team in Taupo, Southern Lakes. About the role
- Fixed term, part time (0.4 FTE or 16 hrs / week)
- The position is based in Taupo but will, at times, incorporate service delivery in the Rotorua area.

About you

You should have
- Ability to work with an equity focus, use evidence based outcomes tools to achieve and measure improved outcomes for Māori accessing care
- ability to demonstrate/role model safe, quality nursing practise that is evidence based and reflects best practise
- ability to lead and work on Quality Improvement Projects/Initiatives to ensure better outcomes for clients, with a particular focus on implementing Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT)
- ability to provide advanced assessment and support staff managing complex care needs in a community setting
- proven ability to undertake audits to identify gaps and drive improved practice
- ability to engage in contemporary practice and quality initiatives for improved outcomes
- You must be a New Zealand Registered nurse eligible to work in Mental Health and have a current APC with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in an acute mental health setting.
- You must hold a master’s degree or higher qualification or have proven evidence of attaining this qualification in the near future

Salary range
$97,699 - $112,503 pro rated to hours worked
