This organisation based in East Auckland is well known for providing industrial solutions. They are seeking a dynamic and organised Senior Administrator/Office all-rounder to be part of their team and support smooth functioning of their day-to-day administrative and general financial/accounting tasks.

About the role:

This is a permanent office based full time role. Primary focus of the role is to provide administrative support to the team and management. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for clients and vendors, coordinating jobs, invoicing, payroll, assisting with HR tasks, and providing high-level administrative support for various projects. Your role will also encompass supplier management, purchasing, and office organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Office Support, including accounts and billing assistance
  • Maintenance of Office Systems and HR systems
  • Weekly payroll
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Managing office purchasing and suppliers, including ordering stationery, IT equipment, and photocopy consumables
  • Ensuring a welcoming and productive office environment for staff and clients

About you:

  • Previous senior level administration/finance experience (3-4 years)
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and financial literacy
  • Tech savvy, well versed with payroll ERP systems
  • A team player, approachable, and proactive
  • Motivated and commercially astute
